Live Edge Coffee Table – Ash

Live edge slab, solid ash, coffee table, approximately 100cm long and 35cm high. The table top width flares from 40cm to 75cm.

The table in the photos is no longer available but I can make another. Timescale would typically be 6 weeks.

This coffee table is milled from the fork of a fallen ash tree. It has a strong grain pattern including the central, darker olive ash tone. It also has a number of drying cracks which form as timber shrinks.

Simple, tapered, ash legs gently splay to stabilise and support the ash slab table top. The slab has been air dried for several years before being shaped, flattened and finely sanded.

The table has been finished with matt, hard wax to give a durable, natural appearance.

Every item has a makers mark and unique tally style number on the base. The makers mark is an abstract axe approximately 2cm long.
