Faceted, solid ash, coffee table, approximately 105cm long and 35cm high. The width of the top face of the table varies from 26cm down to 13cm at the pointy end.
This one has now sold but if you’d like something similar please get in touch.
The solid ash table top, cut from a fork in the tree and air dried for two years has been shaped into this dynamic, faceted form.
Four simple ash legs have been recessed into the underside. The base of each leg is subtly rounded where it touches the ground.
The table has been finely sanded and finished with matt, hard wax.
There are a few drying cracks at the thick end of the table top which can be seen in the photos. They are unlikely to develop further as the timber is now fully seasoned.
Every item has a makers mark and unique tally style number on the base. The makers mark is an abstract axe approximately 2cm long.
